Young bird not playing in cage. Should I be concerned?

When she first came home, she played a lot with her toys which were in the lower half of her cage. However, now that she goes higher in her cage, she seems to spend almost all of her time in the cage eating or just perching.

She does get a lot of out-of-cage time during the day which she spends trying to fly or just walking around the table playing with toys, etc. During those times, she seems quite energetic and playful.

Does this sound like normal behavior?

Thanks.

Are any of the toys higher in the cage where she likes to perch?

try putting the toys up higher. Or sounds like she just relaxes in the cage since she plays alot outside. When we put our GCC back in after being out for a while she just hangs out and rests. When she's been in for a while, she'll "call" for us to get her outside time.
