Exclamation Unweaned baby african grey stolen in denver

From The Gabriel Foundation

Someone just walked into the African Grey Bird Store in Denver and took a baby grey only 8 weeks old...... The baby was being hand fed by the owner and has special needs and cannot survive without a special diet. Please contact us if anyone tries to sell you an (unbanded, unfortunately) baby Grey. We've posted on 911 Parrot Alert- Lost & Found Parrot & Bird database, Report a Lost Bird or Found Bird and have contacted the media as well as local avian vets.

African Grey Bird Shop Denver Colorado

Please cross post where ever you can. Thanx

Unbelieveable

Thanks for posting this - I read this and simply felt sick to my stomach. I'm hoping that the scumbag that took the fledgling will give him back before something bad happens to him. It is unbelieveable what some people will do when they see something they want.

Update

No news.... The theft has been aired on Channel 4 and Channel 31 in Denver Colorado and perhaps others. There is also an article on Home - The Denver Post (search for "parrot"). The police went to a suspect's home but there was no baby bird there.

This 8-week-old parrot was stolen

The baby parrot at one month old.

I'm not sure what angers me more - the fact that this little guy was taken or the nasty comments made by some of the Denver Post forum trolls. Again, unbelievable.

Check Craigslist in the area and see if they are trying to sell the bird.
