Disappointed
Everyone on this bored should be ashamed!! I posted a while ago about a HUGE concern about paint and my birds RIGHT NOW but not ONE person answered and 22 people viewed it!!!Then I look right after my post is someone righting in about a new Band G they are getting and gets bunches on responses!!! im sorry but right now I am scared for my birds lives and not one person responded i acnt believe it and i thought I could get a few responses from you because I am new at having birds and I wanted a little support but NO!!!!!!!!! NO ONE COULD HELP ME OUT!!!

Unfortunately sometimes it's timing Mel. The people with the knowledge might not be around at the time. Personally I'm laid up atm with an injury so finding it difficult to answer many posts (broken left arm, stitches in the right hand). Please direct me to your original post and I'll see what I can do.
Please also understand that cooing over a new bird isn't a knowledge thing, but it's nice to say yay, you have a new guy, very exciting. Your post is one that obviously requires the right answer to help. It would be better to get the correct answer rather then just babble that may be wrong and even life threatening info. I hope this makes sense and I'm sorry that this has caused you angst.

I dont' think I viewed your first posting, mostly because I know nothing about bird safety and paint, but I am sorry you feel neglected and ignored. I am guessing that the people who viewed your post felt the same way and were waiting for someone with more knowledge to chime in. Please dont' feel bad, and I am sure someone will come on and help you out.

If you in the future feel scared for your birds' health the first person you should be calling is an avian vet. Some people don't read all of the boards they read certain sections so some posts take some time to get answered. In an EMERGENCY get off the computer and call a vet!

Im sorry I am just soo stressed about my babies I was just upset I am sorry again. i am scared and my nerves are going crazy. I got one response and I am a little better but well see.

Don't stress honey. We all get a little frazzled and scared at some time over our birds. Just remember if you feel it's an emergency, don't waste time here, get on the phone to a vet. As time goes on with your guys you'll get to know what is and isn't right. Just all part of the learning curve.
