How does a dowel fit on here?

I bought a cage that was new to me and on the play top it's missing the wooden dowel above the food bowels and the wire that also hooks to where the dowel goes for toys to hang on. My first question is when I get a dowel to put on there, how is it suppose to attach to the cage? Also, where can I get one of those wires that I can hang toys on? This link is what my cage looks like (but it doesn't have a dome, it has a house roof).

Pet Bird Cages: Prevue Deluxe Parrot Cage with Playtop at Drs. Foster and Smith

The picture is the "hook up" that I need to figure out. Thanks!!

Did you call the company to let the know you are missing parts?

Other than that I suggest you learn how to "improvise, adapt and overcome".

I've never seen a perch holder like you show so I can't be more of a help.

We had a Preview and I think that looks upside down.... When we bought it ours were facing downward. I hung toys off the end. Only the bigger Preview Play Tops come with a dowel scewed in.

We just zap strapped a dowel to the top. I hope that helps.

NO, that perch and toy holder is a one piece unit I believe. You are missing the perch and toy hook and they hook on there together. You batter call and get your parts!
