Question The fids get new cages!!!! Pics included.

So we bought a new cage for Petrie. It is 20'' wide, 15 3/4 '' diameter, and 30'' high. I was having some trouble setting it up though. I had no idea what to do. I still need to put in toys and everything. I moved the budgies into Petrie's old cage since it could hold up to 8 budgies with pleanty of space for them. Both cages still need to put the toys in. But i want them to get used to the cages first. So what do you think about it. Any changes. I need a little help with a setup. Thanks so much. Oh by the way, ignore the price tag, i got it 40% off lol.

Just start hangin toys where they can be reached. Oh and please please dont put eight budgies in that cage - I dont care what they said in the pet store its really not big enough for eight, lol. Pretty nice cages. And when you can afford it try to replace those dowl perches with some different size natural perches to help excercise their feet so they wont get arthritis when they get older. Just replace them one at a time when you can.Watch for toys on sale!

I agree that cage isn't big enough for eight budgies! Even my tiels cage isn't, and it's bigger! Perfect for two budgies though, they have a lot of room and seem to like the top area!

Nice cages! I have one question. Do you really use the combination lock?
