Jennifer, I am totally with you on this. I had the same exact problems with Luca...only sit wasn't that I had to chase her to put her away. I had to chase her just to hold her! Oh, she wanted to be on my all the time, but she wanted on my shoulder where I couldn't grab her =P
Anyway, now that she's clipped Karis is coming out of his shell more and more everyday and she's gone back to being exactly the way she was before...but even better, because we broke her of the complete dependence. She doesn't scream everytime I leave the room now! I think it may help that Karis is usually with her and he keeps her entertained by busying her with avoiding him. ^_^
I admit, I was sad when she tried flying the first time and failed. But I never get tired of seeing them both toddling around on the floor.
I taught Luca (and Karis is quickly picking up on it) to crawl on my foot so I can lift them up without having to bend down all the time. They really love it..it's like a human elevator!
