Susan Friedman's LLP course

I'm just wondering who has done this course or is doing it atm.

Looking through some posts I'm seeing some familiar wording and techniques with behaviour issues.

I'm in the middle of it a session currently and loving it. I'm finding I'm really starting to think how I work with my birds. It's forced me to re examine a few things too and I can see where I've gone wrong on some issues as well as what I'm doing that's right.

I did it and loved it, I was in 2008 class. It really affected my thinking. Once oyu go through it, you jsut usse the thigns you learned automatically. When I am faced with a new behavior that I don't like, I evaluate it in terms of the functional assessment (FA). It was worth the time for sure

It's a great course! I completed it in 2004.

I just went through the Welcome to BehaviorWorks.org website and the course looks very worthwhile. My background is in Child Behaviour (which is perfect for parrots :-0 ) and the LLP course outline is pretty much a course in Introductory Behavioural Science. Well worth taking for working with any animal IMO...

What is nice is the cost and method of delivery make it viable for a lot of people to do!
