Don't Discard Those Feathers
I saw someone post if they throw out the molted/dropped feathers or saved them. I must say, I have tossed them but with emotion. Especially the long tail feathers from my macaws.
I posted on Craigslist in the Arts and Crafts section to see if anyone wanted them and...I got several responses from people making jewelry and collages etc. I would rather see my lovely birds feathers used in this way than just throwing them out. So, I am saving them for a gal now who wants them! BTW, I said they were free. All they have to do is pick them up from me and if they are kind enough send me a photo of their creation!
