Macaw question?

My B&G wants my attention so he starts spreading his wings...then flaps them both, then does one at a time...is he talented or is this normal? Ive never seen a bird flap one wing at a time with the other tucked up....?weird!

Can't necessarily say I've seen the behavior either, but I can't say he's talented either, since a birds wings act much like are own arms... they can control each wing individually. You can easily see this individual control when they stretch out one wing, perhaps even stretching out a leg and their tail feathers simultaneously.

You are not alone, Hannah does it a lot, sometimes she will just put one wing up and out and either hold it there or flap it, I have only seen macaws do it though

Yes, macaws are famous for all their wing flapping...try getting flogged by several baby caws at feeding time...it hurts LOL!
