Yes, you're right...definitely a Severe, and not a Hahns! (My Beaker, below, is a Hahns.) Severes are considerably larger, have way more white skin on their faces, and have the little brown forehead patch, where Hahn's foreheads are blue.
He's quite the cutie! -SB

He is not only cute, but so silly. He likes to play peek-a-boo, plays tug with a sock, does back flips off my hand,plays hide and seek (although I always find him because he starts laughing). I have read a lot that they are not great pets and at first I have to admit my daughter was calling him the demon bird. But now he will go to anybody in the family- including my husband (as long as I am not there). He wants to be held and cuddled and fussed over most of them time. We never had a bird before and couldn't be happier with the one we got!!
