cockatoo

i think my baby cockatoo 9 weeks old has a burnt crop can anyone help,shes not eating

She needs a vet immediately so there is no infection. Second thing to do is contact that pet store if indeed thats what happened, and discuss medical bills. If they refuse, make the establishment known, and start a law suit.

Wait, are you saying you currently have 34 parrots but no vet? Are you handfeeding the baby yourself? Did the breeder show you how? Have you called them? Can you call them? They have a responsibility to this bird.

I don't know anything about hand feeding, but I believe crop burn is a very serious thing, so based on the others' response I think the consensus appears to be that you should go to an emergency 24 hour vet rather than waiting to look for a vet in the morning. If you can't find the info online, wake the breeder up and have them give you this info. Better safe than sorry.
