Question What type of bird is your favorite?

There are many birds you can have as a pet! But which one do you think is the best for human companion, training, cuddling, etc. I know all of them can be those things, but what is your favorite type of bird?

All I've had so far were tons of american budgies, 1 english budgie, 1 tame american budgie and right now about 2 weeks ago I have a handfed/raised lovebird.

I really can't choose since this is my first bird other than a parakeet but I really like this lovebird. "Big personalities in little bodies"

But I haven't owned many types..so I don't know.

your about to stir up a lot of controversy! everyone going to have a different opinion because that particular bird of that species was their favorite. You CAN'T expect answers JUST based on the spieces. Be careful what you wish for!!!!!!

I think all birds are so interesting I guess really all animals are intresting. there are so many species on this vast planet I guess thats why we are a nation of animal lovers. For me it's just intresting learning about a new animal/pet. They all have diffrent personalities and wants and needs just like humans. If i could id have a zoo in my home LOL. We look at our pets as family and that makes them just as important as children or spouses. Everybody on here shares one thing in comon our love for animals and that makes every one of our pets special and intresting. One person may own a Conure and dont have a clue abot a macaw but we still share the love of animals.

I've had conure's, Macaws, cockatoo, lovebirds, cockatiels and quakers. I find they each have something very special about them, I could not say for sure which I would pick or could pick as a favorite. It's like trying to chose between your children. I love them all.

yes, i agree. after all, i was named after a celebrity animal lover/activist and that pretty much was perfect..hehe. i love animals more than humans. i more of a loner/hermit but still have some human interaction but to me it's tiring and i hate the mundane/conventional talk and all the gossip/back stabbing, etc so i much prefer animals and nature.
i treat my animals as children (even though i'm just a teen and have no kids). i would never give any of them up for anything. i can't even fathom how people could give them away..even if they have money problems (i wouldn't get an animal if i had financial problems anyways, and would find a way like people with children do).
well anyways, there are a plethora of different types of birds and animals out there so i know what you mean. :)
they aren't like humans..they don't kill for pleasure and every animal is good.(not all fit for pets though of course!)

I love all kinds of birds. I've had robins, starlings, pigeons, cockatiels, canaries, finches and now macaws.. All have qualities I like. I do love my macaws though. they are more challenging than any other animal/pet I've ever had, but the rewards are tremendous.

This one's easy: my favorite birds are Stewie and Mika (in no particular order).
