Exclamation Parrolets VS. Lovebirds

I heard these two species are VERY similar to each other. "Big parrots in little bodies"
I'm wondering if anyone has/had them both and which do you prefer? How are they different? I know that parrolets are quieter and heard they are less devious than lovebirds. I love small parrots and now knowing of parrolets I will most likely get one as a pet in the near future! (And on the plus side..I heard they can live up to 30 years opposed to 20 years like lovebirds)

I haven't had either, by I do hear that lovebirds are in general very jealous and they can be very feisty, where as parrotlets I think are a bit sweeter natured. I think there can be quite big temperament differences depending on the species of parrotlet too. Hopefully someone who has owned them can give you more perspective!

I have a Mexican Parrotlet, and they are more laid-back than the Pacifics that are the most commonly found for sale. But, many people love these little parrots, and they indeed are a large parrot in a small body! Active, affectionate if well socialized, feisty, and entertaining! My little guy is great! I've never owned a Lovebird, have heard positives (with those that have been hand-fed and well socialized) and negatives about them.
