How loud is a sun/jenday conure? Come and see

I have seen posts asking this before. There are some good clips on you tube, but I wanted to make one of my own. My little helpers got overenthusiastic about recreating what happened when the UPS man came yesterday.

They also do this when they hear a doorbell on TV, when they see our cat (Moki ignores her, but the new ones sound the alarm), see a vacuum cleaner or broom, etc.

But most of the time they are quiet. I swear.

No thanks! Really, kind of you to offer though. Maybe with headphones and Zooo in another city so she doesn't learn it. :D

I listened to 40 uninterrupted minutes of something very similar this morning, while I was fruitlessly trying to go back to sleep until my alarm went off. Stewie decided that if he was awake, then I needed to be awake too... especially since I had the gall, last night, of going to yoga after work and he didn't get to see me before he went to bed.

Well with that pitch, their vocalizing is right up there with sticking a screwdriver in the side of your head and wiggling it around.

Now speaking volume, try being within 20 feet of 9 macaws when they get going.

That's the beauty of sleeping cages kept in a dark place until a set time of the morning. :)
