xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx x
A couple of comments, I have had Eyva since 6/24 and she has steadily lost weight, due to mechanical failure I was unable to get to avian vet before this time, vet is 100+ miles away. Bird store was supposed to do the Psitticosis and DNA testing before I brought Eyva home, they did the blood draw for DNA te day I picked her up but didnt mention anything about the Psitticosis testing so I had it done while at the vet.

Wow, that is alot. I know what some of the tests are, however, it looks like some do not have results back yet.

wnl = were/was normal looking

I think I would ask my vet to explain it and if there are any areas of concern to watch.

I can't help interpret the results but I think Hollyhawk has great advice: when in doubt, ask your vet. It's their job to walk you through any questions related to tests they're running. Not only is it their job, but it'll help build a good foundation for when you might need their opinion on other matters related to your bird's health.

p.s. What kind of bird is this?

The vet didn't explain any of the values to you? Not sure what everything means but some things really concern me. It says the weight is 305g, but your bird is thin (body score 3/9)? That doesn't seem right. Green Cheeks should not be that heavy! Considering some Eclectus weigh 400g that would be a huge green cheek. Looks like your bird has a yeast infection in its skin and bacteria in its poop (both rod and coccus, circular, shaped). And he's on some meds. Do you have some pictures of your bird? Sounds like he's one sick little guy. Call your vet and ask them to explain all of the values to you. They should have a copy if you do.

Hi
Sorry, Eyva is a 4 1/2 month old African Grey ( doh 3-4-09), I was late for the vet visit (I got lost) so she squeezed me in considering I drove 100 miles to get there.

Actually WNL means "Within Normal Limits/Levels"
