I have started to put together a few that I have found, so I can check back any time.
This site has some very good information.
Safe and Toxic Plants for Birds, Safe and Poisonous Plants for Cockatiels, Safe and Toxic Poisonous Woods for Cockatiels, Toxic Plants, Safe Plants, Safe Woods for Bird Perches, Safe Trees to use for Bird Perches Poisonous Plants for Cockatiels and B

Safe Wood: Bottlebrush, Eucalyptus, Pine (dried, not fresh), Fir, Grape vine, Guava, Poplar, Maple, Most Eucalyptus, Crepe Myrtle, Hibiscus,

More on this site: Bird; Birds: Safe, Toxic Trees, Woods. Safe Tree Wood. Parrots. Parrot cages.

Myself. I have used Paperbark Gum and Manuka for my Play Gym and perches. Tweety has had Paperbark Gum branch ends, Bottlebrush, Pururi, Cherry, Banksia, Branch ends with flowers and seed pods to chew on. These are always fresh. Kanuka is in the same family as Manuka, so should be safe.
The Paperbark Gum is great, as the wood is hardwood, but the bark is very fine layers mil's deep, and just shreds ho! so well. Warning! they make a mess with it.

If you google on the words bird-safe plants you'll come up with a lot of different lists. When I'm researching a particular plant I like to look at several different lists, because they don't always agree with each other on whether the plant is safe.

Gum leaves and nuts are perfectly fine Jess- that's pretty much all I give mine because I am 100% sure they won't harm my birds.
