Parrots 2010 Australia

If you can I would really advise going to this event. I went to the 2008 one and it was fan-bloody-tastic. Just make sure you have some extra cash 'cos the trade tables are a very easy way to spend money.

Parrot Society of Australia - About Us

I'll keep you all up to date as more details come through or keep an eye on teh website. Speakers at 2008 were Susan Friedman, Barabara Heidenreich, various breeders, scientist in the field of wild parrot study and vets. This event caters for both breeders and companion parrot people.

Wow! That looks really cool. When you go to this, you have to let us know how it was.

Last year (2008) I just did the conference and the dinner. I plan on doing the whole thing for 2010 with the aviary tour and whatever else they decide to throw in.

Parrot Society do a great job with the event and the goody bags are very nice.

No you don't have to be a member. You do get it at a slightly reduced rate if you are a Parrot Society member though. Talking of which I need to remember to do my renewal.
