Can humans get ill from any bird (notably budgie) diseases?
I doubt it, but figured I'd run the hypothetical past you fine folks as well.
(I'll accept the obligatory/usual bird board indignant responses of "if your bird's sick, take it to the avian vet ASAP!" if it also comes with an opinion on the question at hand, but am expecting less) |

Likewise, birds can get ill from human diseases. I recently heard about one bird (conure?) that was getting "chronic" upper respiratory infections. The owner couldn't figure out why. Turns out, the owner worked in a hospital where there were a bunch of sick people, and she(?) kept bringing the illness home to her bird.
