Can anyone help me find charlotte?

Greetings, I am a long-time lover and former trainer/breeder of all things parrot and have spent many wonderful years enjoying clubs and forums such as yours - I have a desperate search underway and am hoping someone can ehlp me.

In 2006 I was forced to make a decision that I soon came to regret; something I had sworn all my life I would not do. At the time I had personal circumstances which led me to believe it was truly in my Umbrella's best interest to find a good home for her. I had raised her from the egg - I researched and interviewed and finally found what seemed to be a wonderful home for her. Of course I was terribly sad to see her go b ut kept in close e-mail contact for several months and all seemed to be going wonderfully well. then the dreaded 'no more e-mail/phone' happened and I was frantic. Just recently I was able to find out that the woman had become seriously ill shortly after she took Charlotte, my Umbrella to live with her - and she sold her to someone in the Durham area. I was finally able very recently to contact this woman's son who said that as far as he knew Charlotte was happy in her 'new' home - and that his mother had passed away shortly after she took Charlotte.

I am desperately trying to find our who Charlotte's present owner(s) are and how Charlotte is doing - she would have been sold to a Durham resident in late 2006 according to this woman's son. He said he would try to find the name in his late mother's files but I don't know when he will be able to do this as he is a college student in another location I believe.

I am in a different situation now where I would not have to make the awful decision that I did back then - however I am primarily wanting to know how Charlotte is, is she happy and well, and are the owners happy with her ... I would move heaven and earth to find out this information and would be so pleased just to know that Charlotte is all right. I never intended to be out of her life forever and although I had requested 'right of first refusal' that did not happen. I don't blame the lady in question, she did what she thought she had to do at a very sad and tragic time in her own life.

Please could someone tell me if they might know possibly where Charlotte is? I can easily identify her by the words/phrases she says, the behaviors I worked on with her, etc. - I so very much want to know that she is well. If there are any problems or issues with her I would do all I could to make whatever is a problem, be fixed.

I thank you all for any time you would be able to give in helping me. God bless!

Charlotte was born in December of 1993 and so would be approaching 16. If she is being bounced from home to home naturally I am desperate to find her. She was I am told sold in late 2006, does this time frame fit? She says many things - Hello Charlotte, Char Char, I yuv you, Good Girl, Go Potty, Wanna go potty ... and more. I had her DNA sexed myself and know her to be female.

I was so thrilled to get your response and have already 'bugged you' for another one as I am getting ready to leave my office for the day. I was hoping to get more information from you after I answered your initial reply and the questions in it ... sorry to be so anxious but as you can tell I am really so desperate to find out where Charlotte is and how she is. I'm leaving my office computer then in another ten minutes but I will check in from my home e-mail later tonight and hope you have had time to reply. Thank you again!
