Blue Front Amazon vs. Severe Macaw?

Had planned on getting a baby Severe Macaw this summer or next --- already have a 5 year old Indian Ringneck and just lost my 8+ year old Parrotlet unexpectedly. Now my friend, who breeds exotics, suggested I might consider a blue front Amazon baby --- I got my Ringneck from her and had planned to get my Severe from her. She has Severe's just hatching and BFronts that will wean in a month. When I lived near her in SoCal she did not have the BFronts yet, so I'm not familiar with them. I am familiar with Severes and love their clownish behavior.

I'm not in any hurry, but decided to do some research. Would be interested in everyone's opinion on a BFAmazon vs. a Severe. I can tell my Ringneck is lonely and frankly the RV is just too quiet without my talkative Sir Tango!

Thanks.

I saw a BFA last week at my local aviary shop and fell completely in love and wanted one immediately, so I posted in the Amazon forum under Blue Fronted Amazon, you'll get a lot of good info from the people that responded, go check it out.

I am getting one of each they are being hand fed now. they both seems like great birds and well from my research they didn't seem to be much different than each other. I am hoping that both of mine are going to be females as I have read that they are mellower than the males.
