Cockatoo

Ok guys i have a question ,I have a nine year old Umbrella cockatoo that has very brittle nails ,what is is cause of it and what can I do to make the matter better

When you say brittle am I right to assume the break easily? Are her nails falling off? Birds nail shouldnt be too long but they shouldnt have NO nails, they need to be able to grip and eat and play - do you maybe have a picture?

Sounds like a vitamin deficiency. Your cockatoo needs to go to the vet to have some blood work done.

No they are not falling off I took her in to have her nails clipped and was told that her nails are brittle but not falling off she has no problem perching
