To all members...please read

The moderation team has been noticing alot of inappropriate posts & threads lately.

People seem to be attacking and bashing others, and just being mean spirited.

We are all very passionate about our birds and others birds. Sometimes that passion rolls into a post or a thread, and then all hell breaks loose.

Everybody needs to remember that what your intentions are when you write a post, it will only be words, personaltiy or your real intentions cannot be known. Plus you don't know the situation or state of mind of other posters.

We don't like to do it, but to keep this forum running smoothly without arguements, we will lock threads or delete posts. We all need to rermain respectfull of each other, because we all have one thing in common...our birds. We don't want to chase people away. We want people to come here, and ask questions, and learn about how to care for their birds.

Please think, re-read your posts, and be respectfull. It's easy when you are annonymous to feel you can say whatever you want, but you have to remember you are still talking to other people. Treat each other as you would want to be treated. You don't have to agree with everything, and please advice is welcome here, but....choose your words carefully. People will listen better if they aren't getting called names, being judged, or having a gang of people attack them.

We all know about birds, on different levels, some have lots of experience, some a little, but everyone deserves respect.

No...you don't have to sugar coat anything, just be respectfull & nice. It isn't that hard ya know.
