Nodding parrott...

lol, she just sits and nods all day.. Is that usual?

She is a sun conure, baby.
She has thrown all of her food out but I think she is eating some too.

She loves to come and fly...

any more tips for training?

You mean moving her head up and down? Is she used to eating food on her own? I hope she is eating! How long have you had her??

hi, yes, nodding up and down.. I've only had her 3 days. She is very messy and has thrown some of the food out of the bowl but some of them are shells, so she must of eaten them..
Is there anything I can do to help her? how do you wean birds, she should of been fully weaned before she came to me. She's not had the fruit, will try again tomorrow with some fruit.

Hmm...hopefully the breeder isn't "force weaning" her. If you got her at 11 1/2 weeks old, it probably means she JUST got weaned

My 7 month old sun conure bobs her head. She does it when she is happy or likes something. I've just considered it normal, but I am new to parrots (not birds - owned canaries before).

Mine doesn't throw her food around though. She eats like a feathered pig. >.>

I think nodding is different than bobbing. Bobbing is a sign of happiness or excitement in my experience.
