Penny enjoying her very own book!
Penny loves books so I picked up a toddler touch-and-feel board book just for her, and she is in heaven! She can destroy it to her little heart's content, and it has neat textures to chew and mouth. Now maybe my books will have a fighting chance.

Wow!! Awesome idea! If I were a bird I would LOVE that! They say they have the mind of a 2-3 year old, so it seems that would stimulate the brain! :)

That is such an adorable series of pictures. I might have to steal your idea and get Delenn some books. She keeps going after my precious knitting magazines and those are off-limits for 'exploring.'

Is the ink in these books safe for them to put in their mouths?
It looks like a good idea I wonder if my Quaker Parakeets would like a similar book. We have some left from when my brother was small.
