Holy Jessuit! Eggs in legos.

I went in to feed and water the Love Birds and I took this lego house I had made for them out and it has 7 eggs in it. I am so shocked. I put the house back in so I dont have to warm the eggs myself.
How long until they will hatch?

Don't know what's more disturbing .. the fact that .. well .. never mind .. I like being here too much to get banned.

I really need someone to beat me on the head with the phrase .. "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything".

Good Luck.

If you were trying to be nice by not saying anything you failed miserably.

I don't care much. Sometimes the "stupidness" of posts drives me over the edge and I have to leave...but like a train wreck..I come back.

I can't understand why people can't make their own decisions sometimes, why everything has to be a big production and drama (referring to other posts on other sections and other sites).

and I am saying nice things.

It takes about 24 days upon active incubation for lovebird eggs to hatch.

Oh no..not exactly. More trying to "prod" you into providing pics. I LOVE pics and you seem to have acquired such an amazing collection from "Flea markets."

Since you can afford the birds, can you perhaps just please run down to the drug store and get one of those cheap instant cameras that they have for sale, upload the pics and share?

I believe Phenom feels that you allowing your birds to breed at random isn't the smartest thing.

There are many, many unwanted birds out there looking for homes, and people who allow their birds to breed for **its and giggles makes my hackles rise.

If you have no clue about hatch times, then you probably shouldn't have your birds in a situation where they can mate and create babies. Do the right thing, don't allow the eggs to hatch, then, take whatever precautions you need to in order to prevent "unwanted pregnancies".

JMHO.

These birds were supposed to be young so young in fact that I was told I didnt need to separate them yet. Theyve been together since they hatched and I was hoping to make them more tame before I bothered them with a new cage again.

I do not know what **its and giggles but I can assure you I did not expect this I dont even know who is boy and girl.

On another post, you said that you didn't need anymore birds, and that your Quaker would be your last one. I like that desicion, but that would mean taking the eggs away from them, which I think is the right thing to do here
