Going to Tennessee

Well,
My Mom called today and said my Grandpa passed today. He has been on his sick for a long time. So it is kind of a blessing he is out of pain. So we are driving to Tennessee for the service.

I am having to trust are roommates with the animals. I am a little worried but it will only be 2 days. So hopefully it will be ok.
I have told her all about Abbeys food. I have a friend that will come take care of the kitty and dog but she is scared of birds.

So I hope everything goes well.

Well he had been in a wheel chair for about 40 years. He had cancer in his bed sores. Plus he smoke for 50 years. In the last year he had been in hospice care. He had 102 to 104 degree temps about ever other day. So the last few days he couldn't talk or even blink. He was just a body. He wasn't there anymore. It is a blessing because he doesn't have to suffer anymore. He is free.

I know how you feel, my dad was sick for a while before he passed.

Sometimes it's a blessing.... Walk free grandpa, walk free!

My condolences Kel.

Give you friends an account on birdboard if there are any general questions... call them sailorkelly'sbabysitters.. LOL Post the vet regular # and the vet emerge # by the phone. It will be OK.

I'm sorry for your loss, but since I know all too well what you've gone through with having a long-term situation like that, I'm also happy for your closure and his release from the onus of suffering. /hug
