Free Bird Toy Contest.. where are your pictures?

Hi guys,

I am begining to think your birds don't play with toys? We havn't had very many contest entrys yet.

Well, I just thought I would remind everyone cuz I really want to see all the pictures.

Hah i would have entered lots of pics, but actually, my birds *dont* play with toys. hmmph.

Well, I guess winning a bird toy wouldnt be of much use to them would it. Saves you a few penny's not having to buy toys. lol.. you'l have to post Cookie and Toc's pictures here for me to see, I love birdie pictures.

Oh it doesn't save me much money - i still buy them and buy them hoping i'll find something they're interesting in. :P

Toccie is much more photogenic than Cookie for the most part. :P

They are beautiful, love the tight rope one and the split Toccie is doing on the brances. Yea, you see a toy and hope they will like it and they don't. I have a friend of mine that has to play with the toys herself first before her GC will have anything to do with. Thanks for sharing the pictures they are great and beautiful fids.

I've tried playing with the toys - no luck. She'll chew on something once in a while, but thats it. i have to bribe her with treats - but she just gets the treats and leaves! the only thing's i'v had luck with are chinese finger traps and cat balls with bells, but she only plays with those like once a month. *sigh*

It must get kinda frustrating for you, but then again mine go through toys so fast that I wouldnt mind them to take it a little easier on them once in awhile.

Yeah it gets frustrating sometimes, but i can't exactly sit down and force them to play with a toy. :P I'll just have to keep looking for something they like

Emily I love little Toc OMG hes so cute, even all plucked.


Yea my birds dont play with toys either, its rather bizarre. They just eat & sleep and hang on mom = ) I guess Im a toy?? My tshirt is sometimes, LOL.

Emily, that photo of Toc doing a split should win an award for all time fabulous animal photographs. amazing, I love it!

So, does she do that on command, or did you happen to catch her in an uncompromising position?
