I came across an article that many of you will probably appreciate... Although all of us on birdboard already know how intelligent and truly bonded our fids become just from interacting with them, the article actually describes the physiology of birds' brains that allows them to form trusting, loving relationships the exact same way we humans do.
The article's a bit heavy on the science, but I still found it really interesting, so I thought I'd share with you guys too. Scientists find a common link of bird flocks, breast milk and trust (8/20/2009)
