Hey I found this kind of rope and read around a few websites it looks like it's safe according to the sources I have seen
It's called "manila rope?"

And much more cheap than most of the other stuff I've seen.

If you see otherwise on safety concerns let me know but this looks like it would make for a great netting material as well as for other things!

I've seen them made out of paper twist as well so they are destructible like a shredding toy, and I've seen they made out of sisal rope too.

Look in the DIY forum for a post titled "A Work in Progress".

That net was made using manila.

Thanks R2 I see it now, how do you like this rope? You're is much thicker than I was planning on buying..

How does it hold up to macaw beaks lol??
