Ok, so I've been doing some research and observing my senegal, who has lately been biting, and I have come to the conclusion that he is becoming cage aggressive.
He has started to bite whenever I try to put him in the cage. Also, he has started to sort of "guard" the cage whenever he is sitting on top. So this is what I'm planning on doing, I would appreciate any thoughts or ideas :)
1. Get him a separate sleep cage.
2. Get him a play stand and place it away from his cage. I would plan on whenever he is out to either have him with me or on the play stand. The only time he would be in his cage would be when I am gone. Otherwise, he cant fly so he would just be out on the play stand all day.
Do you think that keeping him away from his cage as much as possible when I am home will help with the aggression? I know now to never let him sit on top of his cage, because he goes into "guarding" mode.
Is it possible that he would just start "guarding" the play stand though?
