Feather Collection

This is my feather collection. I had a ringneck Rascal before (green) so obviously that is the green feathers, then Chiquita’s are yellow my IRN and Boomers are red. I keep them all. The green ones who's is Rascal has a lot of meaning because he passed away and I loved him dearly.

Thats so sweet. I wish i could keep all my passed chickens feathers, but alas, they are gone with the wind, just like my passed chickens, up to heaven anyways. They probably had parasites on em' anyways, haha.

Man, Chiquita's feathers are canary yellow! Very pretty. :)

I collected down feathers for a guy who was making a jacket from parrot feathers. LOL. I have to find out where he's at with that project.
I would love to collect feathers from Pixel but their so small they get lost very easily and his flights are clipped so they're just half feathers anyways

What a cool collection. I found a bunch of Olivers feathers today - he is molting pretty hard core right now and things are finally settling in for him THANK GOD!! His mood definitely seems to be improving. However, his feathers are a little too small to collect = ) They are so small and fluffy though!!

That's a nice collection! I haven't saved any feathers yet.. which my wife said she was surprised at. I will keep a few hear and there. How do you keep them so they're in good condition? Are you going to do something special to them to preserve them.. like leaves?

What a great collection. I started a collection of feathers from Muffin, my budgie, and put them in a matching blue trinket box. He passed away a couple of years ago. I'm so glad I did. I love having part of him around to remind me of him. I miss him so so much!
