do your birds nap during the day?

bella is a 4 month old rb2, she dosent play very much and likes to take naps during the day, is this normal? I assume it is for such a young bird, we put her to bed around 9pm (covered w/a sheet) and she gets up 9am, she does still ask for a hand feeding in the am, but dosent take much.any thoughts / comments would be appreciated

Our birds are older, 2 and 7, and they both nap throughout the day.

Hubby and I were just sitting here talking about how it must be nap time coz Tequila and Ben both were on the playtop puffed up and one footin it......it seems that after the morning time routine they nap throughout the day until evening.

When Drake was younger (he's still a baby now) he napped all the time during the day. It seemed like all he did was eat and sleep.

Yes, they all do. Usually around noon or one o'clock. On weekends, during that time we turn off tvs... etc. So that it is quiet for them.

All my birds have napped during the day. I don't worry so much about the 12-15 hours of sleep thing - they go to bed at my bed time and get up when I get up. So they nap during the day if they need the sleep. Young and old alike.
