What one would you guys pick and WHY? I've never seen a Hahn's in person (or in 'bird' lol)
I have been told that Hahns are VERY demanding and nippy. If they don't get what they want, they let you know with their beaks. They also need a LOT of attention. We're talking as much, if not more, than a normal macaw. They should be treated as a big macaw and not have their needs underestimated because of their size.

You are right, a severe!

I have Hahns that are nippy. I have Hahns that never nipped in their lives. I've had loud ones. I've had quiet ones. I've had demanding ones. I've had ones that didn't require too much extra attention.

In comparison with a Nanday? Either way you'll end up with a bossy, over-confident, loud, maniacal destroyer of things they're not supposed to, who are loving and loyal and you'll call them the 'best bird ever!'.

Isn't that photoa tiny bit deceptive though? The Severe is closer to the camera, so he's going to look muuuch bigger.

I know there's a difference, but judging from how the severe fits your hand, it can't be as big as that makes it look, right? o.0
