Talking Someone's whispering!!

Neko is talking. It isn't loud, only whispers. When he's on our shoulder we say "hey" and "hi baby" to him and we usually whisper it because we don't want to shout at the bird! Well sure enough Im at work right now with Neko on my shoulder and he keeps whispering in my ear "hey! hey! hey!"

I suppose we should start using the appropriate volume if we want to hear him from a distance, lol!!

Anyone else have a whispering bird???

Cute! The only whisper I've had here is Ziva... she whispers "Shhh", LOL! I wish the Suns and Jenday would learn to whisper!

Dusky headed conures are known to be very quiet....so despite having a loud mommy and loud roomies (bgm and sun), Karis is suuuper quiet (she screams sometimes...learned that from Luca but it's only when she's desperate for attention) so she whispers "baby" and "goodnight" and imitates kiss sounds. Too daggom cute.

When our severe, Cody, wants to be really silly he hunches his head way down, looks at us with one eye and whispers "Peek-a-boo". It is the second cutest thing he does.

Oh, and I forgot...

I actually have a whispering sun 0 _ 0

Well, Luca is a screamer sure, but when it's bed time, she whispers "goodnight baby".
She also whispers when she wakes up in the middle of the night in in the early morning...and sometimes if I get reeeealy quiet when I'm talking to her.

whispering is the best. where do I get a parrot that can ONLY whisper? XD

It's so cute when they whisper things. ^^ Boo started whispering a couple weeks or so ago and it's so adorable. I'm still trying to figure out what he's saying, though.
