Hello,



I would like to take a moment to invite anyone who works with, takes in,

adopts out or lives with relinquished parrots, or who has

relinquished a parrot themselves to participate in the

National Parrot Relinquishment Research Project (NPRRP).



The NPRRP is a research project designed to investigate the issue of

relinquished parrots through an internet based survey.
In order for us to truly understand the scope of this issue, your
input is truly needed. The surveys will be running through the end of March,

so please visit our web-site as soon as possible and help us with our goal to

gather as much information as possible about this important issue.



Remember, everyone who is involved with relinquished parrots is
encouraged to participate. This includes both organizations and
individuals who have taken in relinquished parrots as well as people
who have had to give a parrot up.
