Um, excuse me new BFF's!!
I was cleaning the bottoms of Oliver's cage downstairs. I leave the room for 2 seconds and Oliver is gone. This is not surprising, he is fully flighted, but usually he tweets to me to I can find him and place him back on the top of his cage. Well, no tweets. Im wandering around the house and calling his name and I hear a LITTLE tweet from upstairs which I assume to be Emi. I go up there and I find this!!!:
Can you see it?  Looking at me all innocent:  It seems we have new BFF's!!:  I let them sit in the window and tweet to the birds outside. I also did some reading on the couch near the door and let them hang out for a little longer. There was no bickering, they just sat there. Then the both flew to the top of Emi's cage and I scooped Oliver up and took him back downstairs. They have been flock calling for a half hour - sheesh, someone's in love

So precious! They are too cute together! Oliver must have been plotting his chance to break free to be with his new crush. lol Echo does that. He's very sneaky about it. More pics anytime!

I told you they would be friends. Mine were in deep deep love with each other, it was soooo cute (well, to everyone except my male budgie who got left in the dust, poor baby).

I honestly am shocked that they get along. Only because I always heard that parrotlets are known for being aggressive and not good with other birds. He went right up to Emi and was just kinda like "hey!!" and that was that. I even put a nice bowl of treats on top of Emi's cage and they both ate out of it - it was too cute! I hope they have a lifelong friendship, I know Oliver is just so much happier having a friend around who enjoys him (unlike Neko!).
