*shakes head*

I wake up this morning.... to find naughty little Jasper snuggled into my neck... and im like 'JASPER! How'd you get out of your cage?? I coulda squished you!

Turns out I didn't latch the food bowl door after i took yesterdays food out lol.. so he musta pushed it open enough to get out then climb down to the bottom of the cage on the outside so he could get out of the cage-cover and then flew over to my bed lol *shakes head* it's weird though cos although he still wuvs my cuddles, he hardly ever snuggles anymore *sigh*

This isn't going to help but it turns out Merlin has worked out how to undo his food bowl doors. I know damn well they've been shut properly because I've been double checking. Quite happily sitting in the lounge room and then hear the pitter patter of feet as Merlin comes down the hallway.

I used to fall asleep with Ash in bed with me! She'd sit on my neck and snuggle into my chin, sit on the pillow, or find a place under the covers away from me. Scary thoughts though.

I used to fall asleep when playing with Alfie in bed, he'd let me sleep for an hour and then wake me by either preening my eyelashes or playing with a bell toy! Sometimes he'd snuggle under my chin and nap too, other times he'd just play quietly by himself.
I used to freak out whenever he started burrowing under the blankets in case he ran out of air, so I was always very wary of exactly where he was!

I would be freaked out and overwhelmed with cute if I woke up with Delenn in the bed with me. She's so tiny I am afraid I would squish her! :O

Its one of Delenn's favorite places. She loves to snuggle with the covers, roll onto her back and laugh, and hide in pillows. She has more respect for the bed than my shoulder (meaning she won't poop on the bed but will poop on me lol).

One time she was under the blanket and I was keeping an eye on her. Suddenly a cat (I thought the door was SHUT ><;; ) jumps onto the bed. Well the little moving bump apparently pecked at the cat's butt because she squealed and ran out!

And Jasper is SO cute! :D You are lucky!

I used to take naps with Luca all the time...from when she was an eensy bitsy little 6 week old. Mainly cause I was recovering from bloodclottiness and passed out just about as much as she did! And it was fall/winter, so I wanted to keep her warm ^^

I'm not real worried about squishing...birds are good at reacting quickly and moving if need be, but heck...I've woken up with Luca laying under my hand before. You'd be suprised how your natural instincts adjust to having something sleep beside you.
There's...some sort of study about women and babies with that, actually...

Always exceptions though. But I usually move around in my sleep and with Luca? Totally still. But, yanno, if you're one of those people with restless leg or what not, i would definitely not suggest that. o.0

And also? AWWWW! jas loves you so. ^^

I am terrified of falling asleep with Dharma. She loves to get between the back of my head and the pillow, she snuggles and stays real still while I just put my hand behind my head so that I can feel her. The other night my husband said we fell asleep like that. So he took her and put her in her condo and I did not feel a thing. About 10minutes later I woke up and was terrified because I could not find her on the couch! In that second, which seemed like and hour, I was petrified. When my husband heard me yelling about "I've lost Dharma" he said "No I put her up". Now I make sure that I do not even close my eyes.
