Like a kid in a candystore ;o)

I think I'm keeping my birdstore up and running with my way too frequent visits. The owner recognized me over the phone the other day when I called to see if their shipment had arrived. He said: "This is Diljá, right?" Says a lot, doesn't it?!?
I went in today since their new shipment had finally arrived and the store was packed with birdtoys!! It's a very, very small store, it's in the owner's garage and there were toys everywhere, hanging from the ceiling, on the back of the doors and all over the walls, I couldn't even reach half of them. I really should have taken a photo.
It took me so long to decide what to get for Pixel, I was in there for half an hour just looking through all the toys. I'm just glad I went before payday tomorrow so I had limited funds, otherwise I could have bought so much more.
I spent about $150 on toys! That's more than I spend on myself a month

That is so cool that they are that friendly and know you, people there seem so nice. I spend about $10-$20 a month on myself including shampoo and make-up and stuff, and I spend about $75 a month in toy parts for my bird and chinchillas, and I make my own toys or it would be 5 times that amount! But the funny thing is, I get so much more excited when I get a delivery for them than if it were for myself.

I love being able to go somewhere where people know me, I think thats fun!! I always spend more on my birds than on myself - sad? lol

I'm really glad he knows who I am, it shows he really cares about the birds he sells. But I thought it was a bit crazy that he knew who I was over the phone. I've only called him once before and that was way back in March and all I said was "Hi, are the birdtoys in yet?".
Now I'm looking through his online shop and I can't believe how many great toys I missed! Oh, well. I'm going back there next week with my SIL so I'll have an oppurtunity to shop a bit more
