bird occupations
I was emailing with a friend's daughter and she is into birds. She is trying to decide what she wants to do with her life and wants birds to fit in somewhere. So we were brain storming about birdie occupations. What are we missing?

-Trainer
-I don't know the technical name, but how about someone who studies birds in the wild, their migration patterns, breeding grounds, etc.

I wish I could be an avian vet, but the 10 years of training doesn't appeal to me. I have been wanting a bird occupation too, so far being a trainer at a really good zoo near here (that specializes in Australian animals) sounds good to me! Maybe there is a zoo she could look at that does educational shows about parrots?
