pomegranite

Hopefully I spelled it right. Anyways, I have never seen one before, so imagine my surprise when I cut it open to find all those seeds!

Can they eat the whole thing? I'm confused. It did not look like a fruit to me it looked like an alien!

Yes, it's fine to let him have the whole thing. Birds love them but they are very messy, lol.

Pomegranate One letter off. They are supposed to be good for them in moderation, and they can eat the whole "berry" seed and all, however it is quite the mess to clean up.

I don't give them chunks of pomegranate, but only the separate arils (seeds covered by pulp) just because it cuts down the mess if I separate in the kitchen compared to the birds flinging red juice everywhere!

SUGGESTION: Get an old plastic curtain and put on your wall. My babies love them...but they are messy! I love watching them eat it though!

Lol i don't mind cleaning up after him yet because we are still in the honeymoon phase!
I've been sitting here watching him eat it, but he doesn't love it like he loves grapes and carrots though :(

I did cut out the little seed things and put them in the bowl that way.
I thought my white counter was stained for a minute!
