Aviator harness

I ordered an aviator harness a few days ago and used paypal to pay,
and have not even gotten an email saying it has shipped.
Is this typical?
I think it was Monday that I ordered it.

I want my harness before it gets too cold out!

I don't think I got one. I can't even see a paypal receipt of payment but it very possible I deleted that. I am not very good about organising my emails...

Where'd ya order it from, hun?

Some places don't send shipping notices if it's standard shipping. But you should have at least gotten a receipt of purchase.

If you're supposed to be getting one, don't freak out yet. Some sites take a few days to process orders depending on the size of the company (particularly if they go through a second company to get the product). Did you order it late on Monday? Most orders placed after 4 or 5 or so won't go in processing until the next day either.

If it's from the parrot university, then yeah, they don't tell you it ships. I've ordered no less than 60 harnesses from them and not one 'it's shipped!'.

Thanks I did order it from parrot university, I was about to email them earlier but then again the website is as confusing as them not sending me shipping information!

Hopefully it arrives soon, wish I had it today it's so nice out!

I had bought one and the first time I went to put it on Sebastian he lost his friggin mind and I got so nervous I ended up cutting the damn thing off. UGGHH. So now I bought him a Feather Tether because they are easier to put on but I don't like all the metal, not that it matters because he freaks when it's on him. I'm really not sure what to do. I'm about to start a thread and ask for suggestions on what I can use to take him out.

I sent it to the breeder and she had it hanging on the side of his cage for over a month and put it over his head every once in a while. I probably would have more luck with it now since I'm more comfortable with him, but TOO LATE since I had to throw it out...LOL

Eti is still having issues with it after a REALLY slow introduction--the first part even done by the breeder.

I find if I pop him in it and then take him out IMMEDIATELY, it's way better. It's only when he gets bored that he notices it's on him and wants to mess with it.

Takingit off is getting easier....just keep trying at it. Once they figure outit's the only way they get to go outside, they should see it as a necessary evil...

Kinda OT but not necessarily so...

If your breeder says the baby is being harness trained - ask for pictures. Not just one, but MANY pictures throughout it's growth at the breeders. A lot of breeders state they're doing it, and simply don't.
