Winter Toy Drive (The Gabriel Foundation)

With winter well on it's way here in Colorado, the birds will be inside much more now. This means they need something to do, so they won't go completely crazy...lol

SO....I am putting out a request for large, chewable toys for the Macaws & Cockatoo's. They go thru them so fast we can't keep up. Also, we can use medium size & small toys for the Amazons and smaller birds.

Again, I understand with the economy, times are tuff, so if you can't donate don't feel bad. Home made toys are good as well. The birds don't care if it's a super, spectacular store bought toy, or a simple but fun home made toy.

Anyway, just wanted to get the word out, that, as usual, we are in need of large toys, but especially now with winter on the way.

If you have any questions please PM or Email me. If you have toys to donate, PM me for my address. All toys will be sent to me directly, then I will bring them to TGF, plus I will fill out your donation form for your tax receipt.

My donation for the birds will be on its way as of this Sunday,when I am in town for my weekly post office visit. I hope it will be appropriate, seeing it is from Israel and not the U.S.A. ...LOL... It is not much, but it is what I can send for them, from so far away.Come on lovers of Birds, think of the birds that depend on the kindness of strangers. Contribute to any foundation in need. It is always appreciates. Even a dime, and another dime eventually add up to a toy to keep them occupied. There is no greater satisfaction in the world, in knowing you have done a good deed a day.
