The Alex Foundation fundraising dinner

Last night I hosted a dinner for Dr Irene Pepperberg and The Alex Foundation.
It was a success. I had Zupreem, Lafebers, Petscape, Gini's Birdiebread, Mango Pet Products, Featherbrite, my distributors, friends and Higgins sponsor the event.
Collectively we raised $2315.50 for The Alex Foundation. Not bad for a solo venture on my part, and we had a wonderful group in attendance that made it a success!
Now tomorrow I will be at a local Vet hospital to speak to the clients about bird care and I will make up for lost sleep on sunday!!!

It sounds like a great success. Are you planning to make it an annual event as it was so successful?

thanks guys!

Holly, I may consider it. Dr Pepperberg commented about next year. I'll see if i can arrange some more lectures as well.

I dont have pictures just yet. As soon as they are sent to me I will post them.

However the feedback is great so far...here's some feedback......

Lisa, I thank you profusely for putting together such a splendid evening. The food was great, the service was wonderful, and the profusion of items in the silent auction was, I’m pretty sure, your generous work. Irene was her usual magnificent self, too. Even our guests were impressed.
Please let me know next time you plan something like this.

Lisa I would like to thank you for a great evening at the dinner with Irene you did a fantastic job with everything. The food was excellant, the auction table was filled with so many different items it was hard to pick which one to chose from. And meeting some of the people from the forum like patti was really nice. so again a BIG THANK YOU And I will be coming down again when I get the money for cages you have a nice selection for all size birds
