What kinds of questions should I ask?
I found two rescues near me that have offered to let me come interact with their birds and pick their brains a bit. What kinds of questions should I ask them about birds (I've never owned one before)? I also feel like I should offer a donation or something for their time. What would be some good, useful things to donate to them that are relatively inexpensive?

paper towels, newspaper, other cleaning supplies that get used up really quick. Check their websites, alot of them list items they need donated.
