Photography

These are a few of my final photographs for my folio. The theme was 'perception' and I based mine on the bird and dog's perceptions which are shared a well as completely different as they adapt to each others worlds. They were mounted besides my paintings and 3D tissue paper sculptures which I don't have any pictures of. A visiting art teacher asked if I used real birds for my 3D artwork which includes a flying lorikeet, a finch and some decaying bird skeletons. Someone asked if my pig fetus in a jar was real, but I actually drew it and printed it on acetate (like clear paper) and shoved it in a yellow jar I found in the store room and filled with water. I was ecstatic! My theme was about the manipulation of animals. The exhibition they were in was last Friday and it went really well. Feels so great for it to be over, now I have time to make some works as Christmas presents!

Ash wasn't originally the flying ones and I used photoshop to include her. I took the shots specifically to incorporate her though.
