Looking To Photograph Bird Enthusiasts With Their Birds In South Florida

Hello South Florida Bird Community,

I'm a photographer and I'm looking to find some bird enthusiasts to photograph along with their birds for a project that I am working on that is about cultivation. I'm looking for people who raise and/or breed birds and are within an hour's drive from West Palm Beach. At this point, I am only looking for amateur enthusiasts, not professional breeders or sellers. The purpose of the project is to explore the passions that motivate people to cultivate various types of creatures like birds. If you would like to be a part of this project please send me an email at david@davidkimelman.com. Tell me a little about yourself and your bird(s), and include pictures of yourself and the bird(s) if you have them. Also, feel free to pass this on to anyone else you think might be interested. It doesn't have to be birds. I'm looking for people who cultivate all kinds of things, animals, plants, insects, whatever. They just need to be amateur enthusiasts and not professionals.

I will be in West Palm in early November and then again later in the winter. Thanks so much.

- David

Interesting photos. IMHO your link should be removed from this site. Your photos from The Couch section are extremely inappropriate for our young viewers.

Hi Greycloud,

Thanks for your concern about my website. I take photographs of all kinds of people, and you're right, some of the pictures are not appropriate for younger viewers. That's why I have marked any adult-subject galleries on my site with a warning to that effect. Rest assured, however, that the pictures I am taking for my cultivators project are completely family friendly. I hope that answers your concerns. I don't want to offend anyone in this community. Cheers,

David

Thanks for your professional response. It is greatly appreciated. I did enjoy your art. I hope you are able to locate some bird enthusiast volunteers.
