Who, in your opinions or experience, would be the person you would purchase a very young greenwing from? Thank you

When you say very young do you mean recently weaned? I don't recommend buying unweaned birds but some breeders do sell them that way. If you want recently weaned by a great breeder, then there are two I recommend. Sandy Harrison and Don Harris. I can send Sandy's email addy to you privately. Don has a web site. I adopted my Green Winged from Birdloversonly.com rescue. They were honest and told me all they could about her. They had her totallly vetted, DNA sexed and send a ton of nutriberries and information with her. Her adoption fee was $500. And she is a great bird.

Check out the rescues. There are some great birds out there that need a good home.

I'd purchase mine from Dutch Hill Aviary. Mainly because I know Kevin and would kick his cute little butt if he didn't raise it just like he did my Zoe.
