When you say very young do you mean recently weaned? I don't recommend buying unweaned birds but some breeders do sell them that way. If you want recently weaned by a great breeder, then there are two I recommend. Sandy Harrison and Don Harris. I can send Sandy's email addy to you privately. Don has a web site. Both have been in the business for a long time and have great birds. Welcome to Don's Birds and Supplies! (Don's website)

I adopted my Green Winged from Birdloversonly.com rescue. They were honest and told me all they could about her. They had her totallly vetted, DNA sexed and send a ton of nutriberries and information with her. Her adoption fee was $500. And she is a great bird.
Check out the rescues. There are some great birds out there that need a good home. |
