Do your birds respond to music?

Anyone on here have birds that will dance or respond to music? Rocky freezes if I play music! I thought by maybe playing something softer like country or R and B he would, but nothing. Tonight though when I was downloading some new music for a CD he was hopping around and looked interested in it Who would have thought though he liked heavy metal and rock! It was stuff like Disturbed, Korn, Godsmack, Greenday, Nirvana, Linkin Park, etc. What kind of music do your birds like?

So far, I've only been playing operatic arias. She makes the flute sound in Papagena, but I don't think she is singing along to any of the arias yet. But I do think she likes to hear them.

Has anyone watched that video with the parrot who sings Queen of the NIght? Unbelievable. That's how I got the idea.

My birds LOOOOVE music. Izzy's currently singing "Day-O" non-stop. Alton is the funniest though. He has a weird and honestly freaky fetish with Taylor Swift. He'll move his beak in time with her lyrics and croon through the instrumentals.

So far the biggest hit has been the Blackeyed Peas. I've tried playing Gaelic Storm (irish music) but it didn't go over well. Generally its something with a beat. Although I had the radio going one night and a rap song came on (I'm not a huge rap fan)- I was too lazy to change it. About halfway through the song I hear (from Zoey): Zo-Zo, Zo-ey, Zo-ey, Zoo-eyBird! Zoey! Zo-Zo, Zo-eyBird!
She was rapping along to the music! It was so cute! I've tried to get her to do it again (on camera) but she never has, it was a one time deal. But SOO adorable!

Anyway! I feel repetative but yes, my fids luuurve music. Anything that I sing to and anything that's dancable. Oh, and classic--particularly Joe Hisaishi (that's the guy that did the music for the Miyazaka films: Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, etc). They really chill when I'm playing Hisaishi--particularly his piano stories.

Oh, and I haven't had a chance to experience this with Karis or Etienne, but Luca LOVES Christmas music. Probably because we're all so happy about it and I'm pretty sure she knows it means WRAPPING PAPER for her to get into.
She LOVES wrapping paper.


Oh, they enjoy top 40 too. Seeing as I listen to 99.5/the Kane show like every morning. They know once they start hearing top 40 I'm up and moving about and ready to entertain them. ^^
