Avian Toxicity Article

I'm writing an article for the US magazine Vet Tech Magazine on toxicity in caged birds. Is there anything specifically that anyone would like me to research? It will mainly be regarding plant toxicity, but a short portion will be about other little known toxins such as onions. Please let me know!

Yeah, if it isn't only food based, zinc would be a good one. Also Nickel, Avacado, and Teflon.

For sure! Those are really good ideasI have to go over some of the finer details with Dr. Hovda ( the Senior DVM toxicologists) at work to see. I wanted to do an overview article on general toxicity in birds, but I have a feeling they are going to make me do a little grunt work on research into lesser known toxins. Its one of those work projects where I could say no, but I really couldnt say no....
