Xafsmom was correct about the $80 Cage

Just wanted to make a correction without causing trouble, lol. Xafsmom was correct with the $80 price.

Use this link, then go to the bottom right of the page.

Bird Cages, Bird Supplies - Bird.com Supplies Search - Bird.com

It's the last cage displayed. You can see, the ad clearly states the cages are "Now Starting At: $80.99 Save 87%.
However, if you click on the cage, it goes to another page that displays a price of $199 when you check out.

I sent an email to their customer service asking how I can get the $80.99 price, lol.

Thank you....

When you choose a color, the black one is $80.99, while the white and gray one's are $199.99. Atlhough it does say they will contact for a freight quote, so that will probably add a lot to the cost.

My favorite term in business is "STARTING AT". I do believe it is latin for "BUT YOU WILL PAY MORE!"

Well, the freight is still gonna be pricey cause it's still a big heavy cage...

I think we have all learned something today.

Xafsmom is always right. *bows down*

I was just on the phone with them and you are right the shipping quote that it indicates on the form is not the correct one and it could be in excess of $130.00 dollars. They said that they would put a hold on my account until I approved the amount. If I did not approve it, it would take an additional 48-72 hours to credit my account.

I called yesterday and the black cage is $80.99 and shipping $156.74 (without lift on truck and me getting it out myself and bring into my home). They said to add $75 for a lift, $20 to call as tell when coming, and I think $75 more to bring in many have been more charges but I told to stop with the add ons.
